Priya is a Research Associate with MindTech, focusing on projects using mental health digital interventions with young people.
Priya is involved in a study exploring the feasibility of delivering a computerised cognitive behavioural therapy game (SPARX) with young people experiencing mild to moderate depression in a randomised controlled trial. She is also looking into the development of a digital version of the card sort task for self-harm (CaTS-App).
Prior to working at MindTech, Priya worked for 5 years at the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration East Midlands, where she delivered randomised controlled trials and led qualitative work exploring a brief gameplay intervention for NHS staff experiencing traumatic intrusive memories, digital wellbeing interventions for public sector staff, and Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation for people experiencing depression. Priya completed her MSc in Developmental Disorders in 2019 and her BSc in Psychology in 2018, both at the University of Nottingham.
