The STADIA project is a £1.5m NIHR funded multicentre randomised controlled trial to investigate if the use of a standardised diagnostic assessment tool improves the detection and treatment outcomes of emotional disorders in young people within CAMHS (trial led by Nottingham).

The trial will be led by a multi-disciplinary team with expertise in designing and successfully conducting clinical trials in child and adolescent mental health. The team consists of national experts in child and adolescent emotional disorders, medical statistics, trial management and delivery, health economics, healthcare technology, qualitative research and implementation research. The NIHR MindTech MedTech Co-operative will provide expertise and lead the work on usability and PPI.
