Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) offers hope for people with depression that has not responded to first-line treatment. It is safe and effective, cost-effective, and was invented in the UK — yet it is still not more widely available on the NHS.

This webinar will bring together leading UK researchers, clinicians, and people with lived experience to explore how we can build the case for better provision of TMS.

Agenda

  • The patient experience of difficult-to-treat depression
  • The TMS story
  • What the evidence says about TMS for depression
  • Patient experiences of accessing TMS therapy
  • A vision for improving access to TMS in the UK

Speakers

The event is aimed primarily at health care commissioners, policymakers, and third-sector information providers, but all are welcome to join the discussion.
