small John CroweJohn Crowe is Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at The University of Nottingham. His research area is the development of novel forms of instrumentation for monitoring physiological function. This includes the use of appropriate forms of Health Technology Assessment to ensure that the devices produced are suitable for adoption by both users and purchasers. His role in MindTech is to use his experience, which includes pilot work on monitoring people with bipolar disorder, to assist in both the development of technological solutions for use in mental health and the translation of products into routine clinical practice.
