small Richard MorrissRichard Morriss is mood disorder theme lead for MindTech. He is Professor of Psychiatry and Community Mental Health at the University of Nottingham and Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. Previously he was Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Liverpool 1999- 2006, and Lecturer/Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester from 1991-1999. His interests include bipolar affective disorder, mood disorders, suicide risk, somatisation, implementation and sustainment of service innovation and evaluation of complex interventions. He is Chair of the NICE Guideline Development Group on Bipolar Disorder (reporting 2014), lead for the East Midlands plus South Yorkshire Mental Health Research Network hub and Director of Research for CLAHRC Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire
